I have been a certified Breathwork Healer and Facilitator for about a year. Through the journey that breathwork is, I have been able to release incredibly heavy traumas and grow my emotional intelligence as well as my connection to my spirituality. My mission is to give you the tools you need to work through your daily and stored stresses and traumas allowing you to become the most present, enlightened version of yourself.
What is Breathwork?
From a Scientific Perspective:
Breathwork is an active, three part breath designed to hyper-oxygenate your brain and body. This process de-excites both your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. This allows your analytical mind to shut off for the duration of the session. Your body is, then, able to use your breath to do a deep dive internally, finding and releasing stored stress and trauma in a healthy and safe environment.
From a Healing Perspective:
We all have stress and trauma stored in our bodies and this practice accesses those stored emotions on a cellular level. Breathwork gives your body permission to release those things, giving you the ability to experience life without being triggered as intensely or as often. This practice is one that works over time, however, the effects will be noticeable after the first session.
From a Spiritual Perspective:
When we release the stress we carry both on a surface level as well as deeply rooted trauma, our consciousness has the room to grow. With this comes higher spirituality. People who participate in breathwork have recounted things like epiphanies, visits from loved ones who have passed, messages from gods/higher beings, and many other spiritual and magical experiences. These moments of magic will carry you through your day, week, month, and possibly life if you stick with the practice!
